Conservation
Lower Elkhorn NRD focuses on conservation in both rural and urban locations. Includes the no-till incentive program, urban conservation, and soil conservation.
Forestry
The Lower Elkhorn NRD has programs to help landowners plant windbreaks, woodlots, or improve wildlife habitats on their property.
Recreation

Water Resources
The LENRD works with landowners and other agencies to optimize water quality and control flooding in the district.
